SUMMARY:"The Lantern" A Mystical Bellydance Sword Choreography Workshop w/Yana
DESCRIPTION:Beneath moonlit ruins and hidden passageways\, an ancient sisterhood gathers in silence. Their swords are not weapons—they are symbols of wisdom\, protection\, and inner power. Each movement is a ritual. Each step awakens something long forgotten. In this immersive choreography workshop\, we’ll blend mesmerizing bellydance technique with the elegance and mystery of sword balancing\, creating a dance that is haunting\, powerful\, and beautifully hypnotic. Inspired by the dark\, eclectic sounds of “The Lantern” by Beats Antique\, this choreography weaves together tribal fusion textures\, earthy femininity\, and ancient ritual into a performance that feels both timeless and otherworldly. A sword will be required for this workshop. No sword experience is necessary. All levels are welcome! \nAttendees will have the option to perform this choreography in our “Night of the Wicked” Showcase on Sunday\, October 25th at Lorraine’s Dance Studio. If you would like to perform this in our Night of the Wicked show\, rehearsals will be determined at a later date (in person only) and the mandatory dress rehearsal will be on Sunday\, October 18th.
